Established in 1999, the Poimena Gallery is located beside the chapel at the main entrance of Launceston Church Grammar School.
The gallery’s mission is to raise awareness of contemporary art by offering an inclusive program that fosters innovation and community engagement. It supports artists by providing exhibition opportunities that challenge the boundaries of art, enriching the experiences of both students and the wider community.

Street parking is available nearby. Please note that this venue is attached to Launceston Church Grammar School, so roads may be congested during school pick-up and drop-off times.
