Get out your leg warmers and that hot pink leotard and get on down to Reflexions Dance Studio for some sweet Saturday afternoon movin’ and groovin’. Free and open to participants of all physical ability.
Kids will love these fun introductory dance classes held at Reflexions Dance Studio.
Intro To Dance is a 30 min class for kids 6yrs and under. An introduction to dance class using all the latest children’s music. Students will start to learn basis coordination, musicality and technique. All classes are led by teachers who have extensive experience in working with kids.
The Hip Hop class is for kids 11yrs and over. Hip Hop is a modern dance style similar to what you might see in current music videos. This class will be a high energy intro to the different strands of Hip Hop such as breaking, popping and locking and freestyle.
The Funk class is Reflexions’ most popular dance offering for kids 7yrs and over. In this intro to Funk, participants will start to learn moves such as the running man and the funky chicken. Both Hip Hop and Funk have no upper age limit, so parents… can join in!
**Please note: parents are required to stay in the studio for Intro To Dance. For both Hip Hop and Funk classes, please wear comfy clothes. You will dance with bare feet or in dance shoes if you have them.
1.30pm – 2.20pm – Hip Hop (ages 11 and over)
2.30pm – 3.20pm Funk (ages 7 and over)
