Parking and Transport
Paid Parking
The Burnie Arts & Function Centre car park is a council operated car park. Entry to this car park is via Jones Street or King Street. This carpark has a five-hour parking limit. Fees are $1.60 per hour, charged between the hours of 8.30am – 6.00pm on Monday – Friday, and 9.00am – 2pm on Saturdays. You can park for free in this car park on Sundays.
Purchase ticket and display on dashboard. Tickets machines are located close to the Burnie Regional Museum and outside the Town Hall entrance.
Alternatively, you can use the EasyPark Smartphone App to find and pay for parking electronically.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up
There are five free 10-minute parking bays which are helpful when you are collecting any pre-purchased tickets from the Box Office, or picking up/dropping off someone. These parking bays are located on the lower side of the car park, directly outside the Box Office.
For longer stays, you must park in another parking spot and pay the normal car park fees.
Public Transport
The closest bus stop to the Burnie Arts and Function Centre is the Cattley Street stops which ate a 5-10 minute journey away.
