As a community gathering-place, a festival of arts, cultural exchange and celebration and as a site for the sharing of ideas and stories, Ten Days on the Island pays respect to the palawa – original owners and cultural custodians - of all the lands and waters across lutruwita/Tasmania upon which our Festival takes place.

The Plimsoll Gallery is the University of Tasmania’s showcase gallery and one of the key not-for-profit contemporary art venues in Hobart’s cultural precinct.

Ten Days on the Island is excited to be presenting Experimenta Life Forms at the Plimsol Gallery.

Enter from Hunter St and follow the path between Entrepôt Gallery and Art Products towards the School of Creative Arts courtyard. The Plimsoll Gallery is to the right of the large sculptures, to the left of the foot of stairs.
