Experience the grandeur of Richard Strauss’s Four Last Songs, performed by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra with a super-sized ensemble.
This poignant and profound work finds its ideal interpreter in Australian soprano Siobhan Stagg. The concert opens with the electrifying Don Juan, followed by the ravishing Suite No 2 from Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé and the hypnotic Bolero. Joined by musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music, this promises to be the year’s most explosive orchestral concert.
